A guy at work was telling me that some of the UFC fights are scripted like in pro-wrestling. We stated that he figured this was the case since he seldom seen people getting punched or kicked full force, that the shots just glanced off of the opponent. I said that this was probably just the striking style of the guy throwing the punch to keep from breaking his wrist or hand. Is my co-worker wrong????

tell your coworker he's an idiot and needs to watch more ufc. you can see bones popping, blood everywhere (and when the doctor wipes away the blood you see the huge gash). tell him to watch any chuck liddell fight and then try to say he's not hitting that hard.

i don't mean to sound like a jerk, you were right for defending the sport.

that's a blend somewhat. The fights are actual yet some issues are scripted. UFC grew to become into much greater useful returned interior the days of UFC a million-2-3-4-5-6 and so on.. actual fights, no BS, pound for pound *** kicking. the owner of UFC offered out.

The MMA is a sport. You can bet on MMA.

The UFC runs, mainly, in California and Nevada and when it does so it is regulated by the relevant state athletic commission. It's not fake or scripted. Your co-worker is wrong.

A MMA video showing people getting hit hard.

After that, watch the best heavyweight MMA fighter in the world hit people full force. It takes about 1:30 seconds for the hitting to begin.
