The half slip I bought for my daughter is 18" and is white with about 3" of lace trim. She now thinks it's cool to allow the lace to show. When I was her age a slip showing was such an embarrassment! I always wore a half slip, it was just as important as a bra! Maybe I'm old fashioned but I think a slip showing is in bad taste! By the way she had never even heard of a half slip until I bought it for her. I told her a lady always wears a slip under her dresses and skirts. I still wear a half slip all the time! She said some girls now wear half slips as skirts! What do you think of that!

well.............its probably most people who wear them just want guys to notice them...i wear a slip only if im wearing a fancy dress or im wearing a white skirt...i know normal slips, but i have no idea what a half slip is.

I continually placed on one with any gown as i imagine it makes the gown draw close more effective perfect. I do have some 1/2 slips yet I very seldom placed on them particularly because i appreciate the feel of the completed slip. I do like ones with an excellent shoulder straps as i come around the skinny ones have a tendency to slip of the shoulder even as i'm operating

This one kinda bit you in the butt, huh? No pun intended of course. Sounds like something that would happen to me. We had snow today and I'm pretty sure my 13-year-old is still wearing her flip flops.
I'd make a judgment about whether or not she's truly indecent (showing skin, or suggestive outlines of body parts) and add that to where she's going (church, formal dinners with the grandparents, job interviews... no go) and then pick your battles. I think I'd let the slip show at school. Schools are pretty good about enforcing their dress codes, and girls can be cruel when other girls don't conform.

when the beautiful waitress bent for sweeping or the teacher walking on the ladder, she always show her slip. my nurse always put the slip after she take a bath and make me erection

I usually wear a slip or camisole if the item of clothing is sheer - I don't wear one when the item of clothing isn't revealing/sheer.
