The car was being dried with a chamois and the man was wearing a diamond ring .Scratches are bothersom when driving in sunlight. Its a buick roadmaster,1995 and any help would be appreciated

u most likely have to sand it out. i'm sure it only affected the top clear coat and not the actual paint

There is in fact a fix if these are just surface wiping scratches as you describe. Go to a windshield replacement shop and they will polish them out. Very simple and should not be overly expensive.

Considering that diamonds can cut glass, even if you found something, you would still have cuts & scratches in the glass.

Use tooth paste & rub it in really good no matter what scratches you have they will come out.Good Luck
