i grew my nails a few months ago but they were very weak and you know the white section that you paint white in a french manicure i have loads of it will i ever have normal nails?

use the old remedies, have a bottle of clear nail polish, don't buy a new one for this... take some fresh garlic a "clove" of it smash it or dices it and put it in the bottle of clear nail polish, shake well then apply to nails do this a twice a week, your nails will smell like garlic but they will grow faster and much stronger.
another way it to use olive oil and some garlic mixed togther and apply to nails twice a week.

Well, french manicures look good with long nails, but I like it better on short nails. To make them stronger you need to try a balanced diet rich in calcium and fatty acids found mostly in fish (good fats for you) and in keratin (gelatin-jello), vitamins and minerals, try Folic acid. And on the nail try applying polish with strengthener, it works wonder. Keep them away from water and hard work, before applying a coat of polish try rubbing olive oil or vitamin e on them. Keep them moisturized, file them in one direction and try to wear gloves, good luck!
