TOTALLY! Every time I get an email or recieve the best answer reward people ALWAYS put LOL. The nerds on tv shows say LOL. LOL everything. People write LOL on notes. LOL is both misused and overused. People also put LOL on notes, emails, comment, etc. about things that aren't even funny. Why would I laugh when someone writes: "I have to go eat dinner, LOL," or "I am cutting out my name that I wrote on paper, LOL." It's like a filler. Or else it will end up a filler. It's like the word 'like.' I was, like, walking to school. I was, LOL, walking to school. It is such an annoying and grammaticaly incorrect thing! I hate it!

Yes. I hate when people use all that AIM short-hand. Learn to type faster and then we won't have to try to decipher what all that means. And lol? Do we really think you are laughing-out-loud? No, not really.
