Usually pretty accurate. The biggest problem is that the availability of these tests make us wonder sooner... this causes EXTRA stress as we HoPe we are pregnant. If the pregnancy is not going to take then we are devastated by the "loss" which we would NOT have known about with out the test.

The same thing happened to me, with the first response test 5 days early one. I took it in the middle of the day, it was negative. Then someone told me that the best time to take a home pregnancy test was when u wake in the morning with ur first urine of the day cause it contains the most amount of hormones detected in those test. I re-tested in the a.m. and it was positive.

I will tell you that most are pretty accurate! I have only gotten one false negative result once. Usually when I am that late and take a test then get a negative result it is stress causing my period to be late!!! If you have had unprotected sex you may want to get a blood test done to know for sure! It could be a very early miscarriage.

It may have been too early to tell so take another test in a week or two! It gave me a negative and then a positive a few days later, but I ended up having a miscarriage shortly after! I tested before my expected period as well. Good Luck

ussually very accurate..99.9..ive never had a wrong diagnostic and there were a million times i thought i was pregnant and the result will be negative..and only once was it positive ....but because of that .1 % you should have a blood test done..because sometimes the hormone that a woman produces when she is pregnant might not be strong enough to make an accurate prediction..

So go get another test, and by this time it may be 14 days after....so more accurate.

It worked for me, barely on the day of my missed period. I have heard that the Dollar Tree tests are the best if you want to test early.

Wait intill the 5th it maybe too soon to tell. If you skip that day take the test.

I've only used the first response early tests and I've found them to be very accurate.
