Why would that make you a nerd? A lot of people like Lord of the Rings, I love those movies too! I'm surprised they actually managed to make 9 hours of the movie with no dirty talk or sex in it. But I guess it's because it's a book adaptation and the book probably had none! It's one of the most squeaky clean movies I've seen. The last one made me cry, just the thought of knowing that the trilogy was over, it was like, I have nothing to look forward to anymore.

Not at all. The trilogy was one of the most ambitious projects ever undertaken. I love the movies, too. You are only a geek/nerd if you can speak elvish and write in Tolkien's made up languages.

Im a star wars and rings and trek fan. I am not a nerd, I am a woman who likes action packed movies is all. Star wars is a passing thing in our family, heck my 3 young nieces have star wars posters on there walls with stand ups around there computer desk of obi wan, anakin, dark vator..the key to enjoying life is to do what you enjoy and forget this "nerd" stuff, just do what you like and to heck with what others think.

No way!!! My sister about one of the most well known popular kids in her school and her worl revolves around lord of the rings. I personially am a huge fan!
