"you think you might have a yeast infection" sounds like a self diagnosis to me. There are several infection that might have the appearance of yeast infection but really are not. You don't want to take chances treating yeast infection when you really have a different infection. The consequence can be fatal especially for the fetus. My advice to you is visit your doctor. It wouldn't hurt doing that plus you can count on them to keep your health condition confidential.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Yes, but will take you a while to get rid of it. This is the best way to get rid of a yeast infection even if you are not pregnant; as yeast infections are intestinal to begin with. If your dealing with a vaginal yeast infection as well then you will need to address that with your doctor but I assure you that getting rid of a vaginal yeast infection is NOT getting rid of the source of the problem.

Anyone can have a yeast infection. Man or woman. It is caused by an imbalance of good bacteria in the digestive tract. Too much sugar, flour, starches in our diets can increase the potential of the bad bacteria that causes the imbalance in the digestive system, along with taking antibiotic‘s can also cause a yeast infection because the antibiotic kills all bacteria good and bad. It is a medication that is none selective in its method of treating. The only way to correct the problem is to fight off the bad bacteria with good bacteria. You do this by reducing the intake of foods that cause the production of bad bacteria, sugar, starches, flour, simple carbs. And add Acidophilus to your daily diet in large quantity until the acidophilus has a chance to kill off the bad bacteria in the digestive track. People with Acid Reflex will notice improvement in their condition when the
good bacteria begins to take over.

My suggestion is that you take PB8 Pro -Biotic Acidophilus, 6 to 8 capsules 3 times a day until one bottle is empty. 120 in a bottle, $24.95. You can purchase this brand at an Artesian Health Food store or The Vitamin Shoppe. Then start taking Kyo-Dophilus to help restore good bacteria to the digestive system. The GNC store carry’s this product. Price $19.95, 90 capsules. Take 2, 3 times a day at first and then back off to the prescribed dosage after a week or so. Drink lots of water. Eat fresh vegetables. NO Fruit. Your only feeding the yeast infection. If you have a white film on your tongue this should go away.

Don't see why a suppository would hurt your baby if you have a vaginal yeast infection but I am NOT a doctor. I would suggest you start cleaning up your digestive system before you bother with that. Or it is only going to come back. The vaginal yeast infection is caused by cross contamination from fecal matter.

You must understand that this is accurate information. IF it doesn’t appear to work it is because your condition is such that you need to continue with the holistic treatment I have told you about. What you are trying to do is replace good bacteria that can destroy the bad bacteria that is in the intestines, stomach. This can be a difficult task. Be patient.

Taking a Multi Vitamin for you and the Baby is a good thing too.

You don’t want to create a lot of extra fat cells for your baby so I advise you not to live on a sugar, starchy diet and gain a lot of weight with this Baby. Not good for you and certainly not good for the child after it is born. You could end up with a child with a weight problem.

When is your first doctor's appointment? You might try to call the doctor and ask what is the safest product? The doctor or a nurse would be the best person to ask this question. Do you have a foul odor, itching and/or discharge? Because that is the basic symptoms. But don't stress too bad, just keep clean and call the doc. Good luck.

Yeast infections are fairly common during pregnancy, so don't stress over it. But since you're pregnant, you should see your doctor before using any medication. And eat lots of yogurt; it can help cure this one and prevent others!

READ THIS PLEASE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED TO ME TOO.WHEN I GOT PREGNANT I ALSO GOT A YEAST INFECTION EARLY IN MY PREGNANCY AND I DID NOT KNOW I WAS PREGNANT AND BOUGHT AN OVER THE COUNTER CREAM. i THEN HAD A MISCARRIAGE AND TOLD MY DOCTOR HE SAID THAT MIGHT OF CAUSED IT AND THAT I SHOULD OF CONSULTED IT WITH HIM FIRST. SO YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE ANYTHING ON YOUR OWN GO TO YOUR DOCTOR FIRST. YEAST INFECTIONS ARE COMMON YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE SO DON'T BE EMBARRASS.

there are cranberry drinks, you can use to help it clean out... but when you are pregnant it is very dangerous to mess with any infection. See a doc, or if you dont have a doc, visit the local ER. you must treat it early as possible. Good luck.
