Not actual. Homeschools get recurited by way of many universities, however they ought to have a well heritage and move the checks. Only approximately five-10% of the Public School scholars may also meet the qualifications for a Private University. More in Private and Prep university generally tend to fulfill the qualifications. When went to Private School for a brief at the same time in fifth grade we discovered Spanish. They had beforehand discovered French within the 4th grade. In Public School we did not get language till ninth grade and my heritage in fifth grade Spanish bought me an A the primary 10 weeks. Now, that is foremost when you consider that PRivate Schools wish to peer two years eqivalent of High School Language. That method you ought to take Spanish a million-four or French a million-four No French, Spanish, German, Italian, Latin or Greek and also you ought to take it within the College they usually educate it very speedy. One 12 months of College langauge = two years of prime university language. This final 12 months HArvard did not take a million,2 hundred youngsters with PERFECT SAT SCORES They would have, nonetheless, take a few woman in Rural Alaska with lower than superb rankings. Some homeschooler in Montana A black scholar recent out of the Bronx Highschool of Science. Even with imprfect GPA and SAT rankings when you consider that they have got an excessively numerous manner of identifying scholars and appear for capabilities.

I don't know how old your son is, but my son attended a private school until Jr. High-then we decided he should attend our local public school. I'm glad we made that decision! I think it might've been a bit of culture shock had he graduated from a private school and then been thrown into the big cruel world! There was quite a bit of adjustment for him, the worst being buying school clothes-LOL! But he did turn out to be a well rounded individual having gotten the best of both worlds.

please for you sons sake do not home school him. those home school kids always turn out to be weird people with no friends or social life. at least at a private school he will be able to interact with people his own age and have a little fun in life. I agree with sending him to public school also it lets him see what the real world is like instead of a sheltered one dimensional life.

I like public school because children get better exposure to "Real life" and learn to interact with people of all classes.
