I did a pregnancy test yesterday and it was positive (you could only just see the blue line)
I went to the doctors and they did a blood test. I went back today to get the results and it was negitive.
I don't know what is going on.
Has anyone had this happen to them and they where pregnant?

it may just be too early... but if you had a blood test done by the doctors then you may just not be pregnant

This did happen to me, sort of. I was in for my annual appointment and they took a routine blood test which came back negative (they tested for other things, too). Then a few days later, I took a urine pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So I went back to the doctor and this time the blood test was positive. Have you taken another urine test? I would try that, and if it does test positve, you should contact your OB again. Even if the blood test comes back negative again, your doctor will probably want to check into as to why your urine is testing positive. Good luck!

The blood test is the most accurate. So you probably aren't pregnant.
About 5 months ago. I had the same thing, when I went to the doc to get the blood test, it was negative... and now 5 months later. still not pregnant. I have been trying for over a year and a half.

First they are a thing as a false positive and the blood test is probubly more accurate. Go to the doctor and see what they say, and if it is negative you can always try for a baby. Good Luck

I had this happen to me just a couple months before I got pregnant with my daughter. The doctor said that maybe I was pregnant but had a very early miscarriage due to some genetic abnormality in the fetus. I never had any problems from it. I don't know for sure what happened, so I don't even consider it as a miscarriage.

hi same thing happened to me, i took four tests all postive, negative blood. my doctor told me sent me in for an ultrasound and it showed i had an ovarian cyst and that may be the cause of the postive test that the cyst had enough of a hormone level to have caused it, its not maybe the same in your case but it does happen

you're not pregnant. blood test are NEVER wrong. it measures your HCG lever (hormone) level. sometimes you get a false positive with the pregnancy test. good luck.

TAKE THE TEST EARLY IN THE MORNING, WITH YOUR FIRST URINE, THAT'S WHEN IT IS THE STRONGEST. A BLOOD TEST WOULD TELL FOR SURE.
