Ok, I am seventeen and I think I might be pregnant. I have had unprotected sex with my now "ex" boyfriend multiple times. Last month i had sex about 14 days atfer my period. My breast are really sore and my period is due tomorrow and I feel NO signs of PMS at all.I usaually get cramps but not this time. I know its a high chance of me being pregnant. But how did you tell your parents and how did they react?? Help me please!! Any advice is needed. And I know I shouldn't have had unprotected sex but he kinda made me.

Typically you don't need to tell your parent's anything until after 13 weeks and your first prenatal appointmetn (usually 5-10 weeks). That way you know for sure that you are or are not pregnant. Take the EPT home pregnancy test and remember that stress will cause a missed period. Good Luck.

well i got pregnant at 16 and i told my grandma (who raised me) the day i found out. i was still with my boyfriend (now husband) at the time so i had his support and he went with me to tell her. Grandma was upset but she didnt disown me or anything. i suggest getting a close friend or family member to be there with you when you tell your parents. The worst thing you can do is hide it from them. They are your parents and they will love you and will warm up to the idea of having a new grandchild. You need to get prenatal care asap and if your parents know, it will be A LOT easier to get the care you need. It may be hard to tell them but it has to be done and things WILL get better. And about the "ex" boyfriend, make sure you tell your parents he made you have unprotected sex, something needs to be done about that. No one should have to go through that and then the rapist gets away with it.

I was 17 when I had my first baby. I was so scared to tell my mom and dad I waited until I was 18 weeks along to do it. Then I had to stress the rest of the pregnancy about whether the baby would be OK without prenatal care for so long. I took my mom for a walk when I got home from school and just said "I am pregnant." She said "oh, Emily Ruth" and she sighed a few times. Then she asked what I wanted to do about it. I said keep it and she said OK. Then she asked how I was going to tell my dad. I said I wasn't, she was. She said OK and told me to go call my b/f and let him know I had told her. She took it better than I ever thought she would and she even had me into a doctor the next morning. Parents will be upset and a little disappointed but they love you. They will do anything to be there for you. Trust them. Good luck.

If you and your mom are close then you should tell her. If you are not close and you think she may be angry, you should tell another loved one who won't be as angry or angry at all and then let them be with you when you tell your mother. Then you need to go to the docotor and get everything checked out. I know its hard, but you really need to do that. And honestly, unless he threatened your life, you could have prevented having unprotected sex with him. But at this point, I'm not blaming you because I know how tough it can be. I have about 4 friends who have been in the same situation. If you are pregnant, then good luck and best wishes, if you aren't, then learn from this experience. Best wishes again...!

I was in your exact situation. I was 17 when i got pregnant with my daughter. I told my mom that I thought I might be pregnant and she had me take a test and we looked at the results together. Just be honest and tell your parets as soon as you can so you can get the help that you need. About the ex 'making' you, thats rape and you should let your parents know about that too. Good Luck with everything sweetie.

Honey you need to tell someone, if you are to scared to tell your parents tell a aunt or a close friend of the family and then maybe you can have them help you tell them.

and i am sorry but he didnt make you have unprotected sex , you know how to say no and if it happened over and over you know what you were doing. You could have bought the condomes or gone to the doctor to get on the pill. be smart protect your self next time.

Wait he MADE you!!!? That is a no no! Umm, well first make Sher you are pregnant, if you are then sit them down and give to em. Their is really no easy way to tell them. And learn from your mistake. Sex is for you and the person you care about most. And even if you do 'love' the person wait until marriage 'cause stuff like this happen, he brakes up with you, or vice versa. Your parents are most likely going to freak. DO NOT get and abortion, their are other ways. Good luck.

Smooth move.

You shoulda THOUGHT before having sex.

But unfortunately most teens don't.

Stop wussying and TELL your parents, they can get you the medical attention you need for you and your kid.

And if he MADE you have unprotected sex, that's rape.
