Bravado or bravery?
My greatest act of bravado (false bravery) was probably facing down a gang of toughs that were attempting to do something cruel and obscene to a helpless person.
I had no idea what I'd have done if their cowardice had not been as great as I'd guessed. Died I suppose.

my 2 yr old son fell out of the car while i was driving i stopped and just ran to get him thank god he was alright and now i check the dang child locks on the door.
