Whatever you do dont get Norton, You will have nothing but problems. Why not try some free ones first before you decide to
buy, there are a lot of good ones out there. There's a good list here
if you need it.

"BitDefender 10 Becomes the Only Security Software to Accurately Detect 100% of Malware in Performance." I would really go with a BitDefender because it's lighter in resource consumption and because they have a special offer now: http://www.bitdefender.com/PRODUCT-2141-en--BitDefender-Internet-Security-v10.html

these ppl are crazy....they have never heard of or used kaspersky or bitdefender.......i have used both......i prefer bitdefender v10....it is awesome...it updates every hour....it does not use alot of resources......kaspersky is excellent...it is probally THE NUMBER 1 ANTIVIRUS............if u was to chose any other program...i would look at eset nod32....it is also very nice
avg...avast..antivir....norton...the are GOOD ANTIVIRUSES...but...bitdefender...nod32...kaspersky..they are GREAT ANTIVIRUSES...
PLUS THEY DETECT MORE THREATS THEN AVG OR THE OTHERS

NO. NO. and NO.

Zone Alarm Security Suite. It will give you a firewall (best in the world), antivirus and antispyware.

Don't play with your computer thats the best choice.

If you cant afford it, then heres my free combo...

Firewall: Zone Alarm Free version (of course not as good as paid version)

Antivirus: Avast! Its the smartest free antivirus software of them all.

antispyware: Adaware AND spybot.

All of the above that you have listed are big cpu hogs...norten's is the worst. i have used avast, but I didn't care for the interface..it looks like a media player and is hard to understand on how to scan...

I am using avg free anti-virus and love it. It is easy to set up and low cpu! AVG is my personal favorite.
