Nothing too personal, you're still at the early stages of your relationship. Cds, dvds, book he wants, magazine subscription he might like, bake him some of his favourite cookies or sweets. Poster of his favourite player or sports team, jersey for that team or a hat for that team. Video game that he likes to play.

hard to say without know his age but i'll give it a try...
An iPod is always a nice gift and real popular.
New tennis shoes ( nice ones). something he will definitely use.
A video game he wants... but be prepared to lose him to it for a while when he plays it.
A cool watch. Kinda no frills unless it's a real nice watch but that may be a bit much if it's only been 4 months.
A Gift card to his favorite store... Safe play here because then he can get exactly what he wants.

If you've only been together four months keep it light. How old is he? Believe it or not, I got my boyfriend(at 43 years old) an X-Box, our first Christmas. It wasn't that expensive I don't know your gift price range, we set a price of $500.00 and did not go over it. Video games, clothes, make a coupon book for little Happy's that he can cash in, DVDs, a stocking full of "junk". a bottle of your favorite cologne! Does he hunt or fish. I have it pretty easy in that dept. because my bf goes on out of state hunts, he always needs hunting gear(yes we eat what he kills), fishing gear is also a big plus for him. He also loves to cook on the grill, I get him a lot of things to cook out with. Good luck and have a good Christmas.

Well is it assuming that both of you agreed not to spend over say $25, or $35, or $50? That is very important.
If you buy him more than you receive because of $$ restraints, then you might resent your present and that's not fair.
The amount should be based on what each has to spend on their family, token gifts for friends, and don't forget grandma...or she will forget you in her will!
Assuming that amount, and it's in a cold climate, nice sweatshirts or jogging outfit, or the old standby cologne..but get one that you like, and of course
marshall's and tj maxx seem to have gift sets on cologne, and the best deals.
Happy shopping!

It depends on the guy, the age range, and how serious your relationship is. Since you've been with him four months, you don't want to get him anything too luxurious or pricey. Just watch what he does or what he complains about and be there for him with a convenient and caring gift :)

Yea don't bother asking he wont know what to say. See what he's interested in and go off of that. Sports, video games, movie related kind of stuff or whatever. But you know what he REALLY wants from you, don't you? :o)
