Keep in mind: when you're looking for a job, it doesn't mean that you have to do this for the rest of your life. You may decide that you don't get any personal satisfaction from the job you start after a while. That's okay.

Life is about trying new things and searching for that which makes you happy. It's not any sort of failure to try something and decide you don't like it.

I was exactly like you until I learn a trick. The big problem we have is that we want the job so much that when we come to an interview we are so stressed and nervous that we can't think or control ourselves.
What I've learn is to out to the interview keeping in mind that I don't give a sh*t about the job, that they can shove it where they want, and all this interview is bullsh*t.
The first time I tried it I got the job I was relaxed, made jokes, liked the interview and I got the job.
Go out to the interview and relax, you don't care and you don't want the job; that's what you have to keep in mind. You'll get the job, you don't need the stress.
Enjoy

There's nothing wrong, it's probably just the realization that you're officially in the real world. You're finished with school and now it's time to play with the "big kids." A lot of people go through that, so you're not abnormal for feeling this way. But don't worry, you'll feel right at home once you're settled in your career.

The longer you wait the fewer offers you will receive. Companies will wonder what it is about you that makes you unhirable (mind you this is perception, but it can look that way) and then you may not have a choice. Everyone has a desire to have a job they love. The reality is that it's WORK. That's why they pay you. Get off your duff and jump in already!

Being wrong is often a learning experience (or it should be). Generally, you can learn more by being wrong than you can be from being right. Strange how most religions seem to think that life is not a learning experience and that some form of eternal existence is the "price" for being right or wrong.

Bob's right, you might need some pills. It takes most kids 13 years to learn to suppress their independence and creative Self. Others are slower and require college.
You might be really slow and require pills also.
You just haven't figured out what is truly important to you, so it's hard for you to decide why you are selling your life to someone. When you decide what you really want (watch more commercial TV, leave the TiVo off), then you will feel more comfortable selling yourself like the rest of the Corporate Whores.

There are many excellent books on the topic of overcoming fear and procrastination. Please check in your library or in your nearest book store. Your problem is common and I believe you can overcome it. Good luck!
