Unable to install updates from WIn XP SP-2 Pls help?

After preparing the inventory it says "The product key used to install Microsoft Windows may not be valid" , To resolve this issue pls vistit howtotell.com, though I visited the site twice but unable to locate the solution. Pls advise what to do?

Are you using a Valid copy of Windows XP? Where did you buy the computer? Remember, the computer is just an invention, and it is not part of your whole life. You also probably need to reinstall Win XP.

Its basically telling you that your copy of Windows is not genuine, or in other words, a pirate version. Buy a legal version and you'll be fine.
