I think the fact of passing notes around the class is just fun when you're friends are on the other side of the class. Though at most schools, including mine it's not allowed. And yes, the teachers are allowed to read the notes, even if they're personal, as you are breaking one of the class rules. Me and my friend's did get caught once, passing a note around about the TEACHER! And offcourse he had to read it. We didn't talk to nice about the teacher and he got angry at us. The lucky thing was my friend was a good lier and got him to believe another girl gave it to us and we were just reading it, so that was lucky. But offcourse if it's something personal never pass it around the class, just in case someone or even worse the teacher reads it. And if he does the rest of the class and himself will get over it soon if it was embarrassing!

Teachers might be forgiven for asserting students should pay attention in class. Passing notes distracts others who might want to take advantage of the lecture and the time spent in a classroom. It sounds like you are bored during class.

NO passing notes is NOT OK

you are supposed to be PAYING ATTENTION TO CLASS. Try LEARNING while you are in school instead of gossiping. And YES the teacher can read the note.

LESSON HERE? DON'T PASS NOTES and keep your private stuff on PRIVATE TIME.

Passing notes is never allowed, your are in school to learn, and to study. You and your friend can talk during lunch, or after school. Your teacher had every right to read your note, you broke the rules, now, you know not to do it again.

Yes I passed notes and got caught,I think everyone has.But you have to remember that it is her classroom and your there to learn. So yes she has the right to take it from you and even read it to the class if she wants.Because your doing something your not suppose to be doing and that is not paying attention. So I advise you to either become slicker or wait till after class.I would choose the last one,Good luck
