YES. It was Date Movie.
We left in the very beginning. It was the worst movie ever and I only saw the first 20 minutes! Not to mention there are about 10-15 minutes in previews!
The movie started exactly at noon. We left at 12:20 and wanted our money back. The girl said that she had to go check with the manager. It took FOREVER and she came back 8 minutes later and said, "Sorry, our policy is that you can only have your money back if you come before 30 minutes after it started." I looked at my phone and it was 12:28! We still had 2 minutes. I raised a fit and finally she got her manager. He came out and gave my money back with no problem.
It was absolutely a nightmare. :]

It's always nice to go to the cinema with somebody else or a group of people, but if you want to watch a film that nobody else is keen on, it is okay to go by yourself. There are many advantages! For example, you can watch the entire movie without anyone talking to you, and therefore, you won't miss a word, which is something I hate! There would be no argument over seating or somebody stealing your food either. If you're worried about what people will think, don't be! When you're sat down, it's dark and there are a lot of people in there so nobody will even notice. I hope that helped!

I truely don't believe in leaving a movie early myself. I believe that you have to give a movie a chance before making a final judgement. However, I know lots and lots of people who do leave during the middle of a film and I think it's rubbing off on me. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to leave the theatre after the first 10 minutes of "Flyboys." Man that movie was awful!

I went to see The Exorcist when it was first released. Everybody thought it was going to be the same innocuous Hammer Horror type films we were used to then. A lot of people left during the film not because it was crap, but because they were scared sh*tless!

In 1975 my cousin and I went to see "Death Race 2000". The film starred David Carridine as Frankenstein and Sylvester Stallone as Machine Gun Joe Viterbo. The drivers are in a race to rack up points and they earn points for running people down - more points for the younger and older victims. When they started driving over people's heads and squashing them like pumpkins, it turned my stomache so much we left the theater. I guess I became accustomed to movie violence over the years because now I watch it and it's hysterical!

Only once. In 1985 my friends and I left midway through "The Emerald Forest" because we thought it was really boring. Then about 5 years later I watched it on HBO and actually liked it.
