Population-It brought more people in to closer quarters. It created cities and less farms. It created what we know as "urban".

Cities-There were not the same kinds of cities we have now before the revolution. There were mostly only rural areas and small towns. It created New York City as we know it and other cool, exciting places.

Living Condition-Some argue that it brought living condition down because it got people living in smaller places, with more polution, etc. I think it improved living conditions. People were now able to socialize more and have access to more services. You could actually go to a grocery store instead of growing all your own food or trading with others. I really made life easier for a lot of people.

As you can see, I'm a huge fan of the industrial revolution.

The industrial revolution caused probably teh biggest mass migration that Britain has ever seen. there were two groups mainly affected. The weavers and spinners moved in to the cities because they had to follow the work. Many agricultural laboureres also follwed them, mainly because of the security and consistency of the work, but also to escape what were virtually still fudal conditions in the countryside. In terms of living conditions, it was swapping a hovel in the country for a hovel in the towns.

For a while, it caused massive unemployment, until abilities and the economy could be readjusted. That is what caused the massive migration, people moving to the cities in the hope of more help, thus aggravating the situation.
