i stopped doing that because they really werent getting why i was pushing them

Well, I have never heard of bouncing people off ideas... unless if it means that you're trying to fit people into ideas that you have...
Well, I think the latter of the two is a bit more effective in my experience because you get other people's opinions on it... However, the value of the person's opinion may differ... I'm confusing myself! :-)

For some reason I see ideas as this big bouncy ball toy and other people knocking them off of it...naw I think that would only cause sore bums...I say that bouncing ideas off people is more effective...hehehe

I don't think it's as effective, but it surely sounds like a lot more fun to me. Might be able to pound some sense into the people that way.
