I have been in a relationship for almost one yr now. It is long distance and we only see each other once a month. We are great when we are together. She has always been a very positive person and has always been there to pick me up when I am down. We have talked about marriage and me relocating to where she is, about 5 hours away. I have been dragging my heels on this because it is hard to leave somewhere you have been your entire life. I really do plan to be with her but I haven't been in a hurry about getting there. The distance has been very hard and at times I have taken her for granted and thought she would be there and I didn't really give her the time she needed such as phone calls, emails, letters. She knows I love her but my actions haven't always been consistent. Now she says she needs some time away from the relationship. I have taken some time to think about what I want and I will do anything to get her back. How can I make her understand things will be different?
