I work with a bunch of people that are quite a bit older than me, and I also go to college at night during the week. I have found it really difficult to make friends in college and I don't drink, so I miss out on that social scene as well. I haven't had any good friends since high school ( I say good because the ones I used to have ended up being bad friends). It's really starting to get to me that I don't have anyone to go shopping with or hang out with besides my mom and my boyfriend. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might be able to find and make good friends? It's tougher than it sounds!!

I had the same problem at 23, i moved to cincinnati and didnt know anyone but my boyfriend and he had his own friends from his job so i couldnt latch onto him all the time, nor did i wanna be a pest. i was also the youngest at my job and worked crazy hours so i made friends by joining a good church, i met alot of people, then through that i found out about volunteering opportunities like mentoring where i met girls my age who do that, and also meetup.com had some things i was interested in. start by going to church and joining a youth bible study and from there you will be good to go :)

it doesnt matter the age because a good friend is a good friend anyway u put it. u could be friends with a 57 year old lady and still be good friends.good luck

When something big happens, ask someone that u think would make a good friend random questions about it. they will answer. just try not to bust into a privite conversation.
