Happiness is a state of mind. Right now, my state of mind is great! Life may throw me challanges, but in my mind I am happy.
You can only make yourself happy.

I am happy, and I wish I could see more happiness in people's expressions, but there are many that I really feel sorry for. If they only knew the simple secrets of happiness!

I am not happy right now. If you look into Pets > Birds, you will see that I posted a question about my baby parakeets killing each other. I came home today and one was dead. So no, I am not currently happy.

Not a feeling, but general contentment that life is under my own control and having goals that lead to a destination? And since it is under my own control, I control (my actions) whether i am unhappy. Yes, then I am happy.

I don't have a perfect life. However my basic needs are met, I have a happy, honest relationship, and I am full employed. Life's good!
