I've had my periods for times in the past 5 weeks. I get one period, then it stops for 3-4 days, and then get it again. Each time it lasts about 6 days. Cramps, back pains, swollen boobs, all these happen every time. I called the doctor and they didn't give me an appointment until December. What could be wrong? I feel so frustrated!

I would find a different doctor to go to, my dear. This is not normal for you to be bleeding like this, and it could be indicative of cysts that are bleeding. I know it may sound funny, but you could even be pregnant. I know my friend who was pregnant with her first child had her period every month. I don't know how this could happen, but it did for her.
You could also ask your doctor or call the nurse and ask to be put on birth control pills. That may help to regulate. I take them year round, and I don't get my period at all. Never, whatsoever. Some may disagree that this is unhealthy, but I am not unhealthy and have been doing it for a long time. You must insist on seeing the doctor. If you cannot see your doctor, see the next available one, or go to urgent care...

I'm not a doctor, but you could possibly have fibroids. The only way to know this is to see a doctor. That's how I was diagnosed. I had many of the same symptoms. Try a different doctor as they can be painful when they flare up!

I had my perios for 6 months straight after I got the depvo shot. Did you get the birth control shot? Hang in there until you see your doctor, oh and try to eat extra protien or iron enriched foods as with all the extra bleeding you could become anemic. Good luck to you

go to an after hour clinic if there's one. It sound s liek your hormones might be screwed up. Or it can be something of a serious nature. So i suggest go see a doctor as soon as you can get one. It's awful how you have to wait so long.
there's a lack for doctors yet they make it so hard to get into medical school! Go figure!
