I really like this guy i have since the begginning of last year i will always like him! We flirt sometimes but it's kinda hard since i have no classes with him! B4 he has asked me to wear his coat and i let him, and i wore his! But then this gurl named Lacey that's in tons of his classes has worn his coat twice at recess. And i also saw her at his locker. they don't really look like a good couple if they did like each other cause he's average and she's popular and thinks she's black so idk do you think they're more of friends?

Only time will really tell, but as I recall, younger guys have very, very short attention spans, and it's all the fault of biology. That's why I always dated older guys. Maybe they've found they have more in common with each other, especially with all the classes they share. Or maybe they are attracted to something in one another, like her confidence and his intelligence. I've noticed that girls tend to harbour crushes longer than guys, so where a guy will like a girl one week, and she like him back, the next month she's still into him, and he likes someone else. BUT, on the bright side, since guys are more fickle, they're more likely to come back eventually! ;)

Just let them be. If he wants to be with you he'll give you signs. You can also watch the way he and the other girl are carefully. You'll be able to tell how he feels. If he likes the other girl and they start something (which you think won't end well), just let things be and be his shoulder to cry on. You don't want him to feel guilty knowing that you had feelings for him while he was with another girl because he will defend you saying that you don't have feelings. Basically, just keep quiet about it. Your turn will come...you've waited a year already.

It is possible that he maybe into both of you, but if he leans more towards her, then maybe she's putting out, which is the most trampiest thing ever! Anyways, I'd say steer away from that because he's probably trying to get as many girls as he can. He maybe an average guy to you, but you don't exactly know how he is because you don't know him well, so be careful!

maybe asking you to wear his coat was his way of saying he likes you but he is a shy person. He probaly wanted to see how you responded. If you responded in a way like you wasnt really feeling him maybe he has moved on. idk. try observing him and his actions for a while but not too long. Make your move quick before he finds someone else. If you are a bold type girl tell him how you feel and see how he responds. one way you could go is try to form a relationship with the other girl to see if she even likes him. you might find she doesnt even like him like that then you can go for it. But i completely understand what your going through i was in the same situation before. in the 6th grade i liked this boy alot but i never told him 2 weeks later he began going with this light skinned girl who later became my best friend. when they broke up i knew i couldnt go with him because i had formed a relationship with his ex. and that wouldnt be right going with your best friends ex. it just doesnt feel right. so here i am now in the 9th grade. i have moved on but everytime i see him i think about what could have been. so make your move fast before you regret you never did.

um... i think that he's just a gentleman with the coat issue. and they very well could only b friends, but there''s no way to know for sure.
