Normally the physical arrangement of a T8 fixture won't allow it. If there is enough room, check the label on the ballast. It will list the bulb sizes supported.

Yes. There is no meaningful difference between a 34W T12 four foot tube and a 32W T8 four foot tube other than the diameter of the tube and the resistance of the cathodes at the ends of the tubes. The spacing of the pins at the end of both tubes are the same so bulbs of the same length will physically interchange provided there is room in the fixture.

But, because of the difference in electrical current passed through the tube by the T8 ballast versus the T12, the bulbs will blacken near the end and "burn out" more quickly, so if you're switching out bulbs, it is best to use the type matched to the fixture.

T12 are the older type standard tube used or many years...
T8 are the new modern thinner tubes and of course smaller diameter socket.... thus NO they will not fit.....UNLESS you change the sockets and possibly the ballast

No, because I believe T12 and T8 bulbs have different connection types - they won't fit!
