is worth taking if you want to know what your IQ is.

Do not take the tickle test or the other test shown here. They are not like real tests and give invalid results.

If you can score 135 on this test you should be able to qualify for mensa.

You should consider taking a certified IQ test - don't waste your time with internet IQ tests (they don't have enough questions, nor do they test enough areas of intelligence to gain an accurate picture of your IQ)

A certified IQ test might take 2 hours or more to complete.

I dont's have a specific answer as to where you can go, but you could try the following:

Talk to your local school board/district and request information
Try contacting a psychologists office for information
Call a local university psychology department
- anyone affiliated with such testing should know

Another person said try the Mensa web site - I have been there, and they offer "membership testing" - they use real tests, so it is valid, but they are done at certain locations at certain times, and you have to pay a fee... but you might have to pay a fee for other tests anyway. Check their website for more information.

The most popular test is the Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale - meant for use with anyone 16 or older. There is also a seperate test for anyone younger. It provides a Verbal IQ, a Performance IQ, and a Full-Scale IQ, which is the one most people talk about.

Don't take your IQ too seriously though (its just a number - a score on a test - culture, race, nationality, sex, and other factors can affect scores - Tests have been traditionally created by upper-middle-class white guys, so if you're not one of those, your score might be affected... traditionally, african-americans have been said to have lower IQ's than caucasians, but recently its been found that if they are given a test that related to their culture, they have equal or even higher IQ's than caucasians) - many people with low IQ's are brilliant, while lots of people with high IQ's are not so much...

Online IQ tests, however, aren't very accurate. Most of the time people score higher than they should.

If you want to find your TRUE IQ, you'll have to search around online for a pay-to-take IQ test, one that is professionally developed and scored.

You will not find your real IQ online seeing as online tests are extremely inaccurate. Taking the Mensa test or having a psychologist give you an IQ test will give you your score.
