They drive me to insanity! I am constanyl annoyed by those fools with nothing better to do than make an a** of themselves and me. I am interested in any ideas of how to dela with these fools. Don't give me anything to advanced because if you give an idiot something to complicated they crush it then shove it in your face. Whenever I am annoyed by pests of this sort I ignore them. But ignorance isn't exactly bliss. Rage bottles up inside me and it gets to become a very heavy burden of self control. Any suggestions are welcome except the ones that are given by the very people I am trying to deal with.

Thank you all so far. Some of your answers are encouraging. Although the gentlemen who advised me to go to anger managment has the impression that I have the ability to harm someone. I can guarentee that I could not hurt anyone. And as for those of you telling me to ignore them. As previously stated I have tried that. Perhaps some of those "witty remarks" would work. But then again perhaps I should resign to the fact that I cannot change them and should continue to ignore them. In any case continue with the answers.
Thankfully,

I can get angry with the multitude of idiots sometimes too. The way I react depends on what they're saying or doing. If I think it's important I try to figure out what they're thinking and try to correct their behaviour or what they said. If they make no sense, I don't react, I just ignore them, I won't give them the satisfaction of having someone spend time on them, so I won't bother.
If it's something small and not too annyoing I try to put them on their place with witty remarks, which makes them look like a fool. But I leave it at that, and I don't dwell on it. I just tell myself I'm way better than them, and they'll never breed enough braincells to even understand *that*.
They're idiots, don't waste your precious time and energy on them.

Nine year old thread.
The best way to deal with an idiot is to not deal with idiots.
Leave and let the idiot deal with themselves.
If you cannot leave, you must continue to do what must be done and expect the idiots to come along and undo what you have done.
Practice patience, and anger management.
Above all remember two very important things.
1. You are dealing with an idiot, they cannot help themselves do not recognize they are idiots because, they are idiots.
2. You are still there dealing with the idiots therefore you must also be an idiot.
Peace, tranquility and patience.

Personally, I find 'laughing' in their face a really good medicine.They're idiots, there ' s nothing you can do about it and by the way, if they behave like arseholes with you, is only because they know that you are different and they are scared of this.Think about it.Try with a healthy good laugh and try to don't waste your time with them, They don't deserve it.

first of you are dilling with people that wore given a title probably just to shut them up. Second you and your captain go walking threw the yard with out your safety gear on and send a curtain person home. It don't fix the problem but you know it would be fun.

avoid them.
and don't ever work for them.or allow them in position of control or authority in your life.
and it may be good to figure out how to not worry so much about what others think and do.
more control of yourself and your life and more self confidence for you means less notice and care of the actions of idiots.
while I'm not saying at all your a codependent... these books do provide many helpful tools for not dealing with idiots and others. and are avail for checkout at most libraries too!

Take a deep breath, shake your head and laugh to yourself. I have to deal with stupid people all day long and if you don't find humor in them, you will give yourself an ulcer. Either that or your head will explode. Life it too short to let them get to you.

Ignore them and get some help with anger management class or
you're gonna lose it somewhere, somehow and somebody will
get hurt or worse.. If you are talking about idiots here on Y/A you
just report them. Most of them are level one rookies that just
found this and don't even know how to spell

The end of the 1st verse works for me.
Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.
