I have routinely tested at about 132 (129 to 135).
But, this was years after a great gifted program that taught the strategies to the kinds of questions on the test.
IQ tests are generally only relevant in the first few years of life, before education has had the opportunity to give people like me an advantage.
So, I don't trust my own scores, but I am very happy to know that I am capable of thinking well in many areas.

I'm age 13 and my IQ is according to your scale is higher than extraordinary genius range but your scale is not using correct higher level terminology. 160-175 is exceptionally gifted, and 175+ is profoundly gifted. I do not believe in routinely taking online tests and stick to my score from my entrance to Mensa and Prometheus test. I have though taken online tests before as to enter the International High IQ Society and scored a 180 on their T3 test. I am not trying to brag as a believe you will perceive these statements to be pointing in that direction. I also agree with the person above who believes many will lie. I also must express my point to him that if they are dependent on online IQ tests, their answers will be inflated, or or higher/lower by 1 or 2 deviations.

P.S. Buzlite, you spelled through wrong.

This question is interesting, more because of the possibility of whether individuals will answer truthfully. My guess would be that most people would not, some might. It would be interesting to find out what the likelihood is of someone answering honestly. Further, the values of IQ's have always gone up though time, and the scale is shifted up from time to time in order to keep average near 100. Finally, to answer the question though, mine was 146 the last time I was tested, on not.

145
It's an ego trip. They give you an IQ test with typical questions that you might have seen before, and it might even reflect a true score, but the people who take online tests are already somewhat above average and like to take tests. People with low IQ scores aren't going to go looking for more abuse, they are going to entertain themselves with something else. IQ tests are only entertaining to people who like to take tests.
I suspect that the Extaordinary Genius category is reserved for people who can't change a tire because their arms turned into useless appendages long ago.

135.

It is not a legitimate IQ test... certain questions are improper english and several were actually dependent on vocabulary, a true IQ test carries no such dependency as ignorance of certain pieces of information (such as ignorance to vocabulary in this case) cannot have an effect on it.

137 - which is not far off what it has been worked out at before. It was the penultimate one that I couldn't quite work out in my mind - though I suspect I may managed to get the last ne wrong too :)
