One time I was walking down the street. A young girl was pushing her baby in a stroller just in front of me, and old man was walking towards us...it was fall and leaves were blowing with the wind all around our feet and we were all walking sorta with our heads down when GOBS of rolled up money came rolling right between us all with the leaves...it was a MOMENT let me tell you. The old man stopped...I stopped and the girl with the baby-buggy stopped. At the very same time me and the old gentlement said to the young girl..."Pick it up"!!!! She said, "Oh my God" in kind of a dreamy way and just stood there. I said, "hurry up quick ...pick it up and put it in your pockets and GO"...the old man bent over and so did I and we helped her pick it all up and stuff it in her pockets...must have been hundreds..maybe thousands..not sure...probably (and surely) drug money that fell out of someones pants or jacket. That is why we told her to pick it up and go. She REALLY looked like she needed the money...certainly more than we did.
Sometimes the Powers that be really do work in mysterious ways. I smiled for a week after that...I'm smiling now remembering.

I've never found any money other than loose change here and there, and an odd twenty in a coat pocket
or something. Right now, I am in a situation that if
I were to find any money, unless it had ID with it,
I wouldn't hesitate to add it to the really small balance
in my checking account.

I had recently found 25 dollars on the floor leaving the mall late after work. It was balled up like trash. I picked it up and put it in my pocket. I needed gas and had to cash, so I lucked out!

I found a quarter in the cracks of my couch. I went to school the next day and splurged on a bottled water. I loved every cold watery moment... I felt rich.

I found a 20 Dollar bill once in a swimming pool at the MGM Grand and easy come easy go! Remember, just because you have good luck once, doesn't mean it will continue! It doesn't - at least for ME!

Found a wallet full of cash and credit cards. Got in touch with the owner and returned everything.

I found 20 dollars once and I spent it! Ok it was mine and came out of the dryer in my jeans pocket but it was 20 dollars I forgot I had! LOL

Yes and your damned eight I did. Can you imagine asking all the people in a casino who it belongs to? That would be like standing in a cage with lions and tigers with a raw T-bone steak in your hand.

at college one day the guy came to restock the pop machine. he dropped the envelope containing about 800 and so i called the company. The guy came back and was a jerk about it. Next time I vowed I'd keep it, but it's never happened since.
