couse they dont understand that the true meaning of music is being able to connect with the music and let them change your mood they just listen to it cause thats what other people like.

I don't stereotype people according to the music they listen. But, if I had my druthers, my 13 year old granddaughter wouldn't listen to some of the songs that are popular today. How do I know about them? Because when my granddaughter goes places with me, she likes to listen to her radio station.

Theres so many types of music that people like,people will always slag off the other types. Just like everything else in life politics,football,sexuality,religion it's called freedom of choice and expression.

To me Music is almost a religion to some extent as people believe in what they feel........and if a type of music that is not to my taste and is what other peeps likes and makes them feel good, then so be it!
In other words.........I used to take my CD's and lil stereo to work, but because some people disliked it and said 'WTF is this sh!t your listening to'? ¦-[ It not only pished me off, but also I took it personally, so I stopped taking it in with me!
Whatever gets people off, who am I to judge?

Like Goths etc...? You just have to leave them be 'cause a lot of them might be putting it on too and just want to have an "image".

because "Rockers' dont listen to rap and "Gangsters" dont like country and rock. I think its becaues when we think of these people we think of there music and what they wear.
