If you feel that this incident is causing you bad luck, I suggest this...
Gather up the pieces of the mirror and put them in a large jar or big bowl. Fill the bowl with water. Now take it outside during the waning phase of the moon (when the moon is getting smaller). place something in the middle of the bowl you can put a candle on (or a lid on the jar). Place a black taper candle in the center and light it. As the flame grows and the candle burns down under the light of the waning moon, it will absorb the negative energy like a sponge. Once the candle is burned almost all the way down, extinguish it with a couple drops of the water from the bowl/jar. Dig a fairly deep hole (say about 14"). drop the broken mirror, candle and water into the hole and cover it up. Of course this should be where no one is going to be digging around, especially kids!!! Once buried, the Earth will absorb and convert the negative energy into an energy that is beneficial right along with your luck.
Peace!
PS
If you don't have the entire mirror, one or two small pieces will do!

No, you won't have bad luck. The myth started back when mirrors were terribly expensive and people didn't want to have to replace them. But you do sound like you need some help. Throwing a chair is a symptom of having a lot of emotions pent up that you need to express in a safer way. I urge you to seek some kind of counseling to help you get a grip on your feelings.
Making a blanket statement like "everything that happens to me is bad" shows that you are not taking responsibility for your part in your life. Try to focus on the good things in your life, because everyone has good mixed in with the bad. It's a matter of choosing what you focus on. You can decide to change things!

If you believe in Sandy Claws and fairy tales, you can believe in any wish-wash tale, bad and good luck charms. So, start counting and by the end of 2013 you'll be free of the curse.
Oh, as an advice, anger control therapy can help you. Replace the chair and the mirror, otherwise forget about your allowance. Boy, you are grounded for, at least, a month!

Myth, breaking a mirror never gave me bad luck and I did it just to find out if it would happen when I was around 10.

First, get the depression treated. Take care of that, and things will start looking a lot better. I know. I've seen it happen. On the second note, I've had plenty of bad luck without breaking a mirror, though I typically call it clumsiness or life. It happens. Learn and adapt, and move on. :)

Bad Luck - No, only if you believe it to be true.
Bad Temper - Yes, why did you throw a chair at the wall in the first place?

If you believe it, you'll have bad luck.
Believe in the power of yourself and that you are strong enough to deal with anything the world might throw at you or you will always be a victim.

A superstition is something which almost everyone believes, but which ISN'T TRUE. (The opposite is a substition - something which almost nobody believes but which is, nevertheless, true. An example would be: "It'll get better faster if you don't pick at it!")
