I also like the idea of modelling and the minimum requirement for modelling on catwalks etc is 5ft 9. Other modelling such as catalogues and beauty, the heights may vary, but Im sure it is not below 5ft 7.

There are lots of different types of models out there, so heights can very depending on the type of model you want to be. Traditional runway models tend to be 5'-10" as a standard height, but there are some shorter models that are around 5'-8".

It depends on the type of modelling at least 5ft 9" for the catwalk. But some models aren't very tall but look young and so model children's clothes - lots of opportuniites for all sizes.

I am a make up artist for teen models, and the shortest that I've seen are about 5'3. My tallest girl is my bestfriend, Adida`s is about 6'3. The best modeling heights aren't the freakishly tall people, but the people around 5'5. If your that height then you've got it good. If you need anyother info., like modeling agents, etc., just email me sometime. Kay? Kay. Hope I helped! :)

5'.10" for catwalk. But there are so many opportunities for all sorts of models. There are hand models, feet, eyes, etc. Photogenic models, all can be any size. But a clothes model has to be a certain size and height because they only make the clothes a certain size, one size fits all, so to speak.

There is no "minimum requirement". Just like there's no written rule you have to be skinny.
However, within the industry you are considered short at 5'8. Models are generally 5'9-5'11.

Most modeling agencies will tell you that you need to be at least 5'7" for runway modeling. Print modeling doesn't have height requirements. Runway models make more money and getting better assignments.
