...when I insert a CD or DVD in my computer? It came pre-installed and I don't want to delete it because it does tend to play DVDs better, but I prefer using WMP for music CDs and ripping. It's really starting to p*** me off! Thanks in advance.

If you have Windows XP, insert any CD or DVD, click My Computer, right-click on your DVD drive (usually D: or E:), choose Properties, choose the AutoPlay tab, click on Prompt Me Each Time to Choose an Action, click OK and hopefully that should solve the problem. I think you might have to do this with CDs and DVDs separately, but you'll only need to do this once for each if you do.
