Just google "Victor Wooten" or "Stanley Clark" if you are into jazz, but even if you aren't you need to listen to them. Without a doubt the best in the world.

Views of music and what is "good" or "bad" are truly subjective to each person's opinion.

I'd point you in a direction if you could explain what constitutes "good" in your question.
