Mr. Eko died for one. It was all about him. It started out with him in a comma, but his 'brother' came to see him in the tent and set it on fire. He woke up and in the fuss he disappeared. His 'brother' was calling him to confession. He made his way to the plane, and found his brother gone. Then he saw him and followed him, then said he had not sinned only saved his brother, to his 'brother'. Then the 'brother' says "you speak to me as if I am your brother"
Eko sarts yelling "who are you" after him, and follows him into the jungle where the thing turns back into black smoke, grabs him with giant smoky fist and starts slamming him against trees. Locke comes up just then and it disappears. Eko dies after saying something to Locke, and when questoned by Sayid(he's back) says "he said we're next".
Previously, Locke decides to find the second hatch again and invites anyone to come along. There we meet our two new people, a woman and our golfing guy from last episode(that Desmond talked to). They go there, same place as Eko, and mess with signals and find another hatch. A hand reaches up and turns of the camera as you see a pirate-like face.
Meanwhile, Ben goes to see Jack, and Jack takes him by surprise and asks when the x-rays were done and tells him he doesn't have long to live. Ben goes to talk to the blonde lady (I don't remember her name) and asks her why she showed him, and she defends herself by saying that she didn't tell him who they belong to.
Ben takes Jack to the viking-ish funeral of the woman who died. Ben admits that they do belong to him to Jack and says "haven't you noticed the striking resemblence of " -"(blonde) to your ex-wife?" And says they were planning on making Jack trust them and do whatever they said just because. But now, he didn't have long and was forced to ask Jack to operate on him.
The blonde comes in and tells jack to watch 'to kill a mockingbird' but it's really avideo she made asking through signs to do away with Ben, because they were all tired of having him rule them. All the while talking to him as if she wanted himto do the surgery and cure Ben, because 'Ben deserves it'.
Other than that they had Eko's past, about what happened after his brother was shot.\

Today, if you go to the abc website, it shows it to you for free. Just yesterday's episode, so go there and watch it! It was really really good....
abc.go.com.. and it there is an ad about it, right when the screen pops open...

Yeah - something really stupid happpned. I stopped watching in the middle of last season got way too weird...
