It would if the Government controlled the Media. If there was one station and one newspaper owned by the Government like in Italy or similar I would be worried.

In UK and US there are that many media outlets and stations which have allegiances to all the different parties, they kind of even themselves up.

You buy the paper that sings from the same hymn sheet as yourself.

Actually I'm more frightened that the government has marginalized the free press so much that government has taken contro of citizens. Remember, the citizens control the government. . .and the media keeps people informed. Once government can get you to believe the media is the enemy. . .then they have total control. Scary stuff, huh?

What scares me is when i think the government could take away our freedom and our rights as people. As for the media you can't believe what they say because they aren't always right they tell lies about everything to sell papers. But people do anyway because they don't know better they take what they hear (which are mainly opinions from others) and think it's facts. Other people who know whats going on get too crazy about it and have rallies against them. The media needs to print the truth not the fiction otherwise people will believe what they hear and who knows what will happen.

It scares me that people belive what the media says and that people are so gullable to think that the media reports facts! People need to wake up and find the facts out for themselves instead of relying on biased media outlets for their news!!!
