Most guys dont do gifts much anyway and Ive not heard of a guy getting a gift for another guy to say sorry before.
Cant you do something you would normally do together like a drink or whatever and tell him that you didnt do anything behind his back because you value you his friendship.
If he repects your friendship he will accept that.
Good luck.

If you have done nothing wrong then dont go out of your way to buy this friend something. Believe me everytime you think this friend is upset with you and you know its not your fault this friend will be expecting a gift just cause. If he was a true friend he should just believe you and except your apology and move on. If its that serious get him a card and express your feelings out on it if you cant sit him down and tell him to his face.

I think if you give him a gift, it will look as if you are guilty. Just give him a call, and tell him that you did not do that, and that you value his friendship too much, to do something like that! Tell him that people are jealous of their friendship, and that we can't let them ruin a good friendship! say I hope we can work this out! If he does not take your call, then send him a card!

Don't say you're sorry for something you haven't done! Instead, why don't you invite your friend out for a pizza or burger or whatever and tell him just what you said here - that you value his friendship and want to clear the air.

If you didn't do anything then you shouldn't have to get him anything. Just tell your friend that you didn't go behind his back and then you guys should get a pizza and some cans, and you can buy it all. I wouldn't buy him anything because your friend might think that you are feeling guilty and you did actually go behind his back

I don't know if i would go with a gift to say "sorry". Maybe you guys could go hang out somewhere. Go bowling to to the bar or something to just have a guys night and talk to eachother about it.

Actions speak louder than words. Buy him a pint and have a chat. Then PROVE to him though your loyalty and actions that your not the kind of guy that would ever have went behind his back.
Unless, of course, you are.......?

My son goes through the "I am mad at you thing" all the time.
Ignore him. Especially if you did not do anything to deserve the disrespect.
Don't buy him anything or he will use you.
Stand up for yourself. If you did nothing wrong then he is not justified in treating you like you did.
YOU CAN DO IT!
