Yes, but usually only up to a certain amount per year. You'll need to figure out what the maximum reimbursement per year is because if you spend over that, it comes out of your pocket.

Yes. They will pay some or all of your tuition, fees and books for your education. Each company's reimbursement policy will vary - some will pay for any courses, others will pay only for work-related courses. Some will pay for a passing grade, others want you to earn a B or above. Some let you choose any school, others are more selective.
It's a good deal -- check it out. I have earned a MS in engineering and an MBA through tuition reimbursement programs.
Good luck - education is a lifelong experience (even if I do have trouble with grammar and spelling.)

The tuition reimbursement usually applies to job-related courses.
Talk w/your HR person or supervisor. Sometimes comes with strings attached -promise to work for the company for 1-2 yrs for helping with education expenses. Good for your AND Good Luck

Typically, if it has to do with your job. However at my company there is a catch, they only reimburse 100% if you make an A, 80% for a B, 60% for a C, etc...

They will pay for courses that apply to your job and to increase your skills in your position. Let's say you get a job as an accounting clerk. They would pay for you to continue taking accounting courses. Once you get so far with accounting you would need to take other courses in order to get your accounting degree. That's when it's up to your manager to approve those courses that probably don't pertain to your current job but would benefit the company. And, they would most likely lead to a better position and a raise.

typically thats what i means, however, you may have to be with the company for a certain length of time...or they will reimb you like 20% right away and then after say 5 years or so reimb the other 80%. It always seems to be on a conditional basis.

It means that contingent upon you successfully (grade wise) completing courses that they have preapproved, they will reimburse you for the money you spent on the classes.

some companies will do it only if you sign a contract so you'll stick around with them for a while.
