Nick and Kathryn thought she was because as they showed the flashbacks, you saw Lucas talking to Eva after he took her outside and Nick asked her about it, and she said he didn't say anything. It seemed obvious that she was in on it, but they never proved it.

We knew that the girl, Eva, was killed in the robbery since the first episode. Have you been following this show correctly? It's just that in the last episode they were digging into her past that's all.
