How can I make new friends when I just moved to a new city in another state? Mostly close friends, girlfriend, ...
I am at college. Please guide me in details because I never moved to another city so I really was not in this situation before.

I would say you have to start at school. Hey, let your school mates know your new. For the most part people are nice and will offer to show you around. Plus there are so many people just like you. You just have not found them because you have not went out!!!!

I would see what girls there are in your age range on MySpace and try to become friends with them. Let them know you've just moved and are looking for friends in the area. You could always try good old Craigslist too, though it may not be available in your area, or it may not be that popular.
I would also just get to know the city, and explore your surroundings. You're bound to run into another girl that is in your situation. Also, see who eats alone or studies alone at school and approach them.

I moved alot growing up an I can tell you that the older you get the harder it is to make friends. If I were you I would try doing some volunteer work for some charities, it will keep you busy, you will meet great people and you will be doing some good.
