The problem is not James Blunt, per say, more the public at large who continue to buy his drivel.

To eliminate James Blunt, you would have to destroy much of Middle England. Also, admirers of James Blunt (while probably overlapping slightly) make up a completely different demographic to others that should be dealt with, e.g. everyone who bought the Crazy Frog single. If we destroy all those who appreciate James Blunt, the Crazy Froggers will be in the majority, which is too hideous an idea to contemplate. So they would have to go, along with other groups, down through the ranks of dire taste until only those with reasonable CD collections remain. But where do you stop? To whose judgement of taste, ultimately, is it down?

Thus, to deal with James Blunt, short of exterminating the entire population, the only option is to live under a rock. I bags the big one with that cute patch of lichen on the side.

Well I liked 'You're Beautiful' but he does seem to be depressed or suicidal in most of his songs so maybe he'll solve the 'problem' for you.
