my bf and i are thinking about sex and he has asked me to shave i told him that i was not sure if i wanted to and i know it is my decision which he told me that it is up to me but he said that i should try it and it brings him more pleasure and it is easier to go in what should i do?

I'm not going to tell you what to think but how to think..
Pros of shaving your pubic hair is that you'll bring your boyfriend more pleasure, sex isnt really about self-pleasure, its about 2 people giving each other the time of their life...
You'll have a natural scent in your pubic area...
If you shave right you'll have a low chance of getting ingrown hair and scratching your skin...
But you can get razor burns and all other shaving suckiness such as ichyness...
So dont press the razor to hard... and once you shave you'll have to shave again if you dont want the ichiness...
Remeber, forget about peer pressure or boyfriend pressure, just do what you like... Or you can ask your boyfriend to shave his pubic hair and tell him you wont shave yours until he does ... Haha..
Or have your boyfriend do it for you..
But its ALLLLLLLLLLLLL UP TO YOU!

the decision is totally up to you. it doesn't bring him more pleasure, or make it easier to go in. if i were you, i would ask him to shave his first. as for a tip to avoid much of the itching when it grows back, or ingrown hairs, get an electric trimmer, set to the lowest setting and shave. that way it's not irritating you, and immediately after shaving, what little hair is there is barely noticable.

It's all up to u, man. Do whatever u want. Personally, I shave my pubic hairs b/c it feels alot better when showering and there's less/no chance of pulling pubes when dropping ur pants. If u decide u want to do it, though, just be careful and either use a decent set of (hair) clippers or a simple hair removal cream. I use clippers but with the hair removal cream, there's no potential for ingrown hairs to produce. Good luck!

You are right, it should be your decision.
And the statement that "it will bring more pleasure and it is easier to go in" is a line of b.s.
He may have more of a 'fetish' about it, but it definitely has nothing to do with entry. Unless he is of terrible aim and can't figure out your anatomy. Which he needs to educate himself on...doh.

Don't do it! Pubic hair is there for a reason, not to mention the risk of painful ingrown hairs after you shave and the discomfort when the stubble starts as the hairs grow back. If you have a really full bush, just trim it close with scissors and tell him to settle for that.

Well hunney it IS your decision in the end, but be warned that if you start, you may not be able to stop...
Once the "fur" starts growing back, it'll itch like you've never felt before, and then afterwards it's a real "b!tch" to maintain (i.e. "entretient") !
But there is a social pressure for us humans to look less hairy that what we trully are.. And alot of people (men and women alike) are giving in to this fashion, which feels more like a sentence since you can't just do it once and forget about it, since the itching regrowth will be a constant reminder of your action!

I shave mine because I like it better that way.......but that is a personal decision that I made.....if you dont want to dont....if you want to try it that is ok too cause you know hair will always grow back. Dont let him talk you into something you dont want to do....but there really isnt any harm in shaving it.

Shaving pubes is become metrosex thing with both str8s and gays opting to shave there pubes. It takes some time and be-careful when you decide to shave enjoy and you will like the out come.

uhm, shave your bush girl, its not fun for him to take care of biz with you not being nicey nice for em. SHAVE it, if you care abt the damn guy. DO stuff for him and he'll return the same when u want something. Dont be a selfish- daddy's lil girl who thinks shes gods gift to the world.

First and foremost do what you feel is right for you. He probably got the idea from porn movies, where all the porn stars have shaved pubis'. If you don't mind doing it once, try it then let it grow back.
