No way. Breastmilk is the best nutrition for a newborn and there is absolutely no substitute for it. If you put breastmilk in a bottle to feed to a baby, it's almost as good, but they still miss out on the bonding with their mother.

NO NO NO!
There is not comparison. Breast is best. If you compare the ingredients on a bottle of formula to a McDonalds milkshake, many of the ingredients are the same.
You can pump breastmilk and feed the baby your breastmilk with bottles, that is OK. Breastmilk is the best nurtrition for your baby....Please do the research.

Breastfeeding is always best but if you can't get the baby to latch on I would pump and give the baby breastmilk in a bottle. Some babies just won't latch on and that what a lot of mothers do so that the baby is still getting breastmilk.

No. It's not even close. Breastfeeding helps the mother's body recover from childbirth (read loose weight) more quickly and imparts many more nutrients as well as immune-enhancing goodies that last a lifetime to the child. Besides that, there's nothing like it for bonding with your child. It's sometimes really rough for the first 3 months, but it's SO worth it.

Bottle feeding gets baby fed. Breast feeding has more of a bonding element. Not to mention the pro's of breastfeeding. Less colicy, fewer if any ear infections, less likely to be obese, and stronger immune systems. The important thing is that baby is eating and is healthy.

Absolutely not.
Formula is made from dead materials. Breastmilk is a live substance that changes from day to day, hour to hour.
Formula is made from cow's milk, which is perfect for baby cows. Breastmilk is perfect for growing baby humans.
Breastmilk contains tons of antibodies to help prevent illness. Formula has no antibodies.
Breastfeeding can help prevent certain forms of cancer, allergies, obesity, and tons of other problems. Formula is just a food with no special properties.

No, it is not. If you can get through the first few weeks of pain of breastfeeding, stick with it for the health of your child. The anti-bodies that your body produces in the breast milk is unbeatable. Your baby is protected naturally from your bodies ammune system. I had alot of pain breast feeding my first child, only for the first 3-4 weeks, but with my second child I had no pain. Your nipples just need to "toughen" up. Good luck to you & your baby.

Bottle feeding is more expensive.
Breast feeding is easier because its free, its MADE by nature for your baby, it helps you lose your pregnancy weight faster, it reduces your chances of breast cancer, your child will have less chances of getting sick, plus you dont have to get up in the middle of the night and make a bottle for a screaming baby. Your milk is ALWAYS ready.

Breast Milk is best....every doctor will tell you that.
That said, you can raise a healthy baby on formula.....it is easier, but VERY COSTLY.
There are some good formulas out there, but nothing is as good as breastmilk.

Everyone says breast milk is the best, but if (for whatever reason) you can't nurse, then your doctor will put your baby on the formula that is best for your baby. I breast feed my last baby, for a whole year, and enjoyed every minute of it. We are exceptionally close because of it. ;)
