But yahoo answers is asking us how to solve the problem of cloning and abusive answers on here...My idea involves giving us the power to choose who can rate us, report us or even answer our questions...much like in your email where you can block a specific sender...we could block raters, reports and rude questions and then maybe we could deal with intelligent people only on the answer site...Any intelligent questions before I email Yahoo and ask them...at least maybe restrict level 5/6/7 from abuse...

They would find a way through it. I had an idea weeks ago that you had to pass an IQ test before you were allowed to post. That would keep 99% of the tool-bags away.
I've had enough of this site and the only reason I've been visiting it lately is because I've been procratinating!!!!!
The YA team don't do much to help us at all I don't think, but good luck!!

I doubt that it would work. For one thing, even though there are repeaters who do ruin it for everybody else who uses this forum, I think just about anyone could give an answer that might offend someone, at some point. I also think that the cloners are LBGT people themselves who either just do such things on a whim or are honestly upset with a few participants and so target them for abuse. My guess too is that the cloners come online as their usual personas just to throw people off.

The main thing is for Yahoo to do its job and delete bashing questions as they come up or are reported. Also, chronic cloners need to be banned from the site.

You seem to be a honest, nice man, so I do admire you for yoru concern over this issue.

While I will agree that something needs to be done, I am not in support of limits. Whatever system is fashioned must allow for newbies to post questions, especially h.s. students who need to ask a few questions and then leave but have no interest in participation afterwards.

I would support a system of "thumbs downing" whereby after X amount of "thumbs down" a question is automatically deleted, or sent to Y! for review, et cetera. Most of the bashers on here are below level 2 anyway, so the only "privilege" we have differently (over them) is the rate system.

The bomb replaced into defined as a neck bomb - on no account considered in Australia previously. some thing the wealthy must be made conscious of using fact they are the objective for those evil gangsters.

How about Just being able to block a person like their ignore feature, you won't see their questions and if that person is on your blocked list it either blocks them from answering your question or automatically blocks your view of their hateful answer.

Sounds great to me, but I'm not sure if you can even get through to a live person there. I really do think it's almost all just a computer program. Good luck with that though....

I never ask intelligent questions. :-)
But for what it's worth, I think it's a good idea.
