Nursery schools and daycares do not pay very well. No one does it for the pay!

Even with experience if you don't have a degree, you'll be lucky to be making more than someone at McDonalds.

Have you considered getting into private work? Becoming a Nanny? Those jobs pay better than the daycares do.

That would depend on the LEA for which you seek employment. Look on their website there will a be a payscale.

In Kent it is about £19,001 per annum pro rota
