I'm very tempted to try it but I'd like some opinions first.

i love it. (i used to work in a cosmetics store applying makeup, especially this product, so i know a lot about it)

first find your true color, you can even mix and match the foundations.
make sure that you use the kabuki brush for the foundation and the mineral viel. it has stiff bristles so the makeup can get into every nook and cranny of your face.
personally i love true. its a blush that has a little glimmer in and gives you the right hint of glow. .
the last and most important thing is the mineral veil. its the setting powder so without it, everything would just melt away. so you NEED THIS if you use the product.
another thing that is cool is their eyeshadows. you can use the "foiling" technique (which is just adding a drop of water) and it can make any color pop out.

i have been wearing it for about a year now and i dont plan on changing it. its an easy simple routine in the morning and it last all day! hope i could help

YES YES YES!!!! Let me tell you this much, I have tried just aout every brand of foundation known to man (all the expensive brands), and was NOT happy with any of them! I wanted one that would cover and last, and none of them did that. The only one that came close was Mary Kay, HOWEVER, good coverage, but I felt like I had to use a lot to achieve that "Good coverage" and it did NOT look natural, looked caky and made me look older! Plus, it made me break out!

Well, I had seen the commercial about "Bare Essemtials" and I was VERY skeptical, i thought to myself "No way can that stuff work." Well, I ordered some and to my amazement fell right in love with it!!! It is absolutely WONDERFUL!!! I use the "Fairly light" and i use the "multi tasking minerals" which is a cover up, and their brushes and I'm here to tell you it goes on so well, the coverage its amazing (your in control of how much you want) and yet NATURAL, not caky at all, lasts all day, and makes you look younger. It also takes a lot LESS TIME in putting it on compared to that reg. foundation.

But, the best thing by far is MY SKIN DOESN'T BREAK OUT ANYMORE!!!!! When they say "So natural you can sleep in it" well they mean it! I've fallen asleep with it before and no breakouts, where is the other stuff clogs your pores and is so UNATURAL! I will NEVER go back to that crap (foundation) again, that stuff is so nasty!

I am very much into my skin and taking care of it and I go to a plastic surgeon for "peels" and she even says "It really is the best for your skin". I say try it, they have a "Starter kit" its worth it, and if you don't like it then you can return it. Ask yourself this "Would you rather apply something that is made from the earth and is natural onto your skin or some crap with all kinds of chemicals that clog your pores and ruin your skin? Which is better for you? Just give it a try and you'll see what I mean. Good luck:)

I am a first time Bare Minerals user. I have had it for two months now and I love it. I have sensitive skin and it works really well for me I love that air brushed look . I use it over their self tanner for your face it is called Faux Glow. It is the Best worth the money and it lasts along time.

It is absolutely worth the money! It is kind of expensive the first time because you need some of the brushes. It lasts a pretty long time too. I will never switch makeup again - it's that good.

I don't like bare minerals.
when you wear their foundation it shows every single crease in your skin.
I suggest using Smashbox our Laura Gellar!!
they are well worth the money and they are fabulous.
if you do decide to go with the bare minerals.. purchase it from www.qvc.com
they will have what you are looking for..sometimes for $20 less!!
just type in bare minerals!!
good luck and i hoped i helped!!

p.s. even if you decide to try another name brand.. qvc.com will most likely have it so check there first!!

I wasn't as impressed with it as some people were. It's a lighter coverage foundation than I was expecting. If you already have decent skin and want something light, go for it. It's not good for much else though.

I LOVE IT! and I don't find that it settles into lines (I'm 49 and have a few) - my skin has never looked better & best of all, you can sleep in it! I'd suggest you get a "make-over" at their store or Sephora and test it out before you buy.
