Is it better than just believing that people can do basically anything as long as they dont get caught? Just curious.

I think what goes around really DOES come around. When you send a bad vibe out into the world it comes back and bites you in the behind. You ever notice the nice things you do come back to you also? Sort of like pay it forward. You give someone a smile or if you are kind sometimes they pass it on and it just goes on and on. Eventually it WILL come back to you.

The concept of what goes around comes around in my opinion is absolutety true. There are so many different euphemisms for this that come from so many sources (you reap what you sow, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, etc.) that there has to be some basis of truth in it. Besides, if you really stop and think about some of the experiences you (or those you know) have had in life, I'm sure you will start to see the proof of it.

I have tried living both ways. My experience was "what goes around comes around" is very, very real and accurate.
Once I saw that the stuff that was "coming around" was hurting my family as well as myself, I made the decision to live differently. Now what "comes around" is a lot nicer to live with.

my grandmother always told me to be nice to people no matter what that if they are mean to you it will come back to them ten times worse than what they did to you i had a teacher in the third grade that always picked on me because i was very shy and she thought it was funny she was always embarrassing me in front of the class etc. her husband was the superintendent of the school i went to my grandmother told me just be nice it will come back several yrs later she and her husband got caught embezzling money from the school they both lost their jobs and got into legal trouble i have always told my children be careful what you do and say sometimes things happen to someone you love instead of you directly and that hurts even worse i have seen it happen alot of times in my life be nice to people it will make you feel better have a good evening

I believe that one way or another, we all pay for both the good things we do, and the bad. Call it whatever you want to, Karma, God, etc., but it will always return to you, whatever it was that you sent out.
