What a brilliant actress. But why do her sketches last sooo long? Her performance as the granny is astonishing. I like the Gay Northern Irish man jokes last week.
However the jokes are wearing thin. I blame harry Enfield and the fast show. Catch phrase comedy. Little britain and tate all seem to be aimed at the schoolyard. Eventually there will be a reaction against this kind of comedy and Tate and Walliams and Lucas will be highly unfashionable has beens.

She has her funny moments, some of her characters are better than others though, I have to say.
I love the foul mouthed "Nan" who slags everyone off!
Some aren't so good ("Am I bovvered" Lauren - thats been done before) or the 32 year old majorette - that just makes me cringe!
She's a really good actress too.
Met her when she was filming Dr Who's Christmas Special in Cardiff with David Tennant. She's really nice!!

Must admit...last week, first of new series, absolutely doubled me up with laughter...just love the 'I can do that' interpreter...hilarious! And Nanna...classic! Sometimes bovvered can annoy but overall I think Catherine Tate is brilliant

Absolutely love her to bits. There's a woman at work who's like the Geordie one who's always pestering everyone every week about some fund raiser or other! We told her Catherine got her inspiration from her and to watch the show! Success! No more hassle!

Funny! She has her weaknesses, but out of what we have shes really funny and quite original.
Little Britian is a little bit less funny and more weird. Bo Selecta is so hit and miss. Borat is a bit boring and dull for me as is Ali G, Charlotte Church is even worse. So shes actually quite good out of the lot! Shes on par with Ricky Gervais in Extras.........

I think she is very funny!
Last weeks episode was absolutely brilliant! Lauren in the burger bar and 'I can do that' girl doing the launguages! Hilarious!
Tonight's episode was a bit disappointing but again, Lauren as a cheerleader was funny and of course 'nan' was good!

I think she great, theres not many chances for women to find a niche in the comedy market so good on her. School kids think she good as most year 5 and 6's i work with know her catch phrases off by heart (in fact we use her 'am i bovered' phrase to help with bullying lol)
