Can naturist life style make young people become exhibitionists?

My sister is an avid naturist who never wear any clothes at home in addition to going frequently to naturist beaches and resorts with her twin daughters of 10 years of age. I particularly see nothing wrong in her nudist life style, however one point of concern to me is that the two girls seem to have become exhibitionists.

For example, on summer we invited a large group of friends to our cottage and my nieces spent the whole day totally naked sunbathing at the pool and walking everywhere in full view of everybody, including young boys of their age or a little older. The girls were not ashamed of being seen naked and seemed not to care at all about the whole situation. Several times I addressed the situation to my sister but she simply kept saying that there was nothing wrong and if her daughters wanted to stay naked in public it was nobody’s business.

I think my nieces are becoming exhibitionists and showing off themselves for pleasure. Should I be concerned or just relax?

They have been raised with NO pride so it would be useless for you to intervene plus you would be classified as a "nosy" and backwards aunt.

You have no clout and their mother doesn't care so, yes, relax and let it go. If it bothers you, then don't go where they go.

You are right about the young boys. They turn on easily.

Being comfortable with your naked body and taking furtive pleasure in showing yourself are completely different things.

They may appear to be the latter to you because you are not comfortable running around nude (which is not meant as an insult, BTW).

I think they're too young at 10 to be getting any real sexual kick out of it.

that would freak me out, there are just some tings people do thats common knowledge, or common decency, and having close on in public places is one of them, maybe you should talk to them and tell them what they do behind there door, or at some place where being naked is ok, than thats fine, but when everyone else has close on, you need to have close on, when in Rome, do as the Romans do.

I find it hard to believe that they are true naturists. I have been to clothing optional beaches & resorts & you don't display yourself in public unless it's understood that nudity is an option. It makes lots of other folks uncomfortable, so you have to respect their feelings.
